Mick Rory, also known as Heat Wave, is a fictional character in The CW's Arrowverse, primarily appearing in The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow. He is portrayed by Dominic Purcell.
Rory began as a pyromaniac criminal partnered with Leonard Snart (Captain Cold). He wields a heat gun, capable of creating and manipulating fire. His volatile nature and love of arson often clashed with Snart's more calculated approach.
Initially an adversary of The Flash, Rory was recruited by Rip Hunter to join the Legends, a team tasked with protecting the timeline. As a member of the Legends, Rory showed surprising growth, learning to control his destructive impulses and developing genuine bonds with his teammates.
